T'was a dark, dark, night.

T'was a dark, dark, night..... ~ the opening of a book that my daughter loved when she was younger. For the disciple Peter, it was indeed a dark night. Jesus was arrested, and then there was that other bit that Jesus predicted. Then the realisation of failure. It was indeed a dark night for Peter.

What would I, have done???

Peter remembered what Jesus had said: "Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times." He went out and cried and cried and cried.
