What a great day of worship, reflection, and meditation. We had our hall full, with the Church of Morwell, met together in combined worship. A real sense of unity, and the enjoyment of each others company, was evident throughout the worship time, and the following fellowship time over a cuppa and hot cross bun.
In the assembly was a couple that I had met during chapel services in an Baptist elderly residence from a previous ministry location. It was good to have a chat, and encourage them.
But the time is coming—it has, in fact, come—when what you're called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter. "It's who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That's the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship.
