FINALS

The last two weeks I have not been available to play cricket. My team is placed fourth on the ladder at the end of the home & away games. This means that we are part of the finals series that will start next Saturday. We play Saturday, and if we win we then play one of the top two teams on the Sunday (I am not available for Sunday games), if we win that game it will be a Grand Final on the following Saturday.

I am really looking forward to the finals games, as this is the very first time I will be able to play in a finals series. In my past Clubs, and Cricket Associations, the games were two days in duration and were played over a Saturday & Sunday. So although my teams have played finals, this will be a first for me.

Philip. 4:8 (KJV)
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

How great it must have felt to participate in a finals series Brian after numerous missed opportunities. Good luck, and God bless.

Brian. I am currently blogging on my vintage blog about British things and I was wondering if you would provide me with a picture of yourself playing cricket or in cricket gear...for the blog on cricket!
