Season

We live in a world where most things happen right now. There is instant coffee, tea bags, emails, video links, drive through take-away meals, etc. The downfall of this is the lack of patience. We want to be instantly well, hot, cool, wealthy, holy, happy, content, etc. The writer of Ecclesiastes 3 would have us consider, and ponder, how things operate in a time frame. We are also charged, in Philippians 6, to stand and hold our ground. So whatever our circumstances, the patience of understanding the flow of the seasons, will be an advantage, on our journey through this wonderful life in God’s service.

Luke 4:13 (KJV)And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
