Well, after four and a half hours I can sit and think for a few moments. It has been a busy morning. There are things that I wanted to have done by now, but they are next on the agenda. For now I’m just enjoying my (tuna) sandwiches, and a cup of black coffee (no sugar to spoil it).
Ah! The simple things of life!
Next is Sunday’s worship preparation. The cleaners are halfway through their cleaning job. So the Hall will be clean and ready soon.
Psalm 37:7 (Msg.)
Quiet down before God,
be prayerful before him.
Don't bother with those who climb the ladder,
who elbow their way to the top.
