I recall a journey some years ago, when I sat next to a South African born Jew. The journey had us side by side for many hours. We had some conversations about many different things during this time. One particular question that he asked has remained with me ever since. He simply asked, “What is your community like?” I went on to describe the town where I was living at the time. However he wanted to know about “community”.
How would you respond to that question?
What is your community?
Acts 2:44 (Msg.)
And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common.
