Memories

I found the Old City of Jerusalem, to be a beautiful place. And felt extremely, at home and walked freely in all four quarters of the city.
Today I was looking at "The Jerusalem Post" newspaper for Sunday November 5, and Monday November 6, 1995. The last days our tour was in Israel. The headline stories were the reason I still have these papers.
Sun. ~ RABIN ASSASSINATED
Mon. ~ Yitzhak Rabin to be buried today
We were in our (new city Jerusalem) hotel room watching a movie ~ Crocodile Dundee ~ with Hebrew and Arabic sub-titles, about an hour into the movie everything stopped, to focused on the assassination.
'Rabin was felled as he was entering his official car at 9:50pm at the conclusion of a massive pro-peace rally in Tel Aviv's Kikar Malchei Yisrael attended by some 100,000 people.'
When will the world learn: Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13 KJV)

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your comments. It’s great to hear from a brother in Australia. Hope your well.

Every day I am astonished by the sins and evil in the world. Someone today asked me at work, if there is a God, why we continue to have this sort of pain, hurt and deceitfulness. My response - There's a God and there is a devil. While God continues to do good and influence his children in the right direction the devil will continue to influence evil on others.

God Bless,
Gordon
